Pieter Moree (born January 1, 1965 in Schipluiden) is a Dutch mathematician. He specializes in number theory and is best known for his work on Artin's conjecture on primitive roots. He obtained his PhD in 1993 under the direction of Robert Tijdeman at Leiden University. He is the author of over 80 publications. He has worked at the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn since 2004, where he is a Researcher and the Scientific Coordinator. ==Trivia==
